Barbara A. Ensley
artist
I was born in the United States, but spent most of my childhood in the beautiful county of Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa. When I did finally move back permanently I decided to make Tennessee my home and it was while I was going to school for Art in Chattanooga that I met the love of my life. We joyfully started a family of four boys and I put my art to one side to be a stay-at-home mom, but the paints and brushes were never far away. I would often paint in the evening after the kids were in bed and found acrylics to not only be brightly colored but fast drying (something that is a plus with little kids). Now for the first time in many years they are all in school and I am back to my beloved art. And I finally have a studio!!
